Paris Boys

My son (center) and some of his crew, goofing around on the beach in Normandy. Apparently, what they miss most from their trip is watching the denizens while sipping cappucinos and eating crepes in Paris sidewalk cafes. All these boys are heading off to different colleges in the fall. For some reason, that strikes me as very poignant.

  1. Oh, to be young again. That's a trip they will remember for the rest of their lives!

  2. There's something so free about their interaction, in these pics and in life, too. I wish for them that sense of comfort in their world, always.

  3. What an amazing school trip. A fabulous learning experience for a teen, to discover other cultures and their cafe sitting, cappuccino drinking ways.

I sent my oldest to Spain for the summer in his senior year. He still says it was one of the best experiences of his young life.

  4. The Mother, Spain is a beautiful country! My son went there with his school last year, too. I hope they continue to want to see the world.
