Glow

We picked up my mom and my niece from the airport in the early hours of Sunday morning, and my mom walked into her treehouse studio when the dawn was just beginning to put the night on notice. I had put in flowers and left on soft lights, so the apartment would look glowing and welcoming. My mom went straight to her favorite chair and she sat there, looking around, noting everything as she left it. And she said, "Well isn't this something. I am here."

  8. Oh sigh, dear Angella. My heart is in my throat after reading this. It will be bittersweet when the sisters reunite again for the first time. I am sure that the journey is not nearly as easy as it once was for your beloved mom in so many, many ways. And also, for you...

So much love and big hugs.

  9. Thank you, dear souls. She's very frail this time. When she walks, she's so unsteady I find I'm holding my breath. But she's here. And in spirit she is as hardy as ever! Love to you, each one of you.
