  1. I can't believe that with all of the video coming out now (because we all have video ability literally at our fingertips) these things are still happening. I mean- before it was the cops' word against the witnesses' word and we all know who wins that argument. But EVEN WITH THE PROOF IN FRONT OF OUR EYES, nothing changes. I keep saying this but I believe it to be true- there is a deep and quite possibly incurable disease in our country and it comes from slavery and the very basis of our history and existence is built on the fact that white people came to this country and destroyed and killed AND CAPTURED AND PUT INTO SLAVERY the people who were here and then proceeded to bring more slaves here. WE USED HUMAN BEINGS AS MACHINES AND CRUSHED THEIR VERY BONES INTO FOOD AND BUILDINGS AND FIELDS AND ROADS AND DAMS AND RAILROADS. This is such a huge refutation of the lie of the equality of mankind that we will never recover. I swear. I don't think we will. I think this sickness will taint us and our hearts and our souls unto eternity.
And I am sickened as we all are. We have to try and change. We have to.

  2. I can't watch any of those videos. I know I probably should, but I just can't.

  3. I don't want to see the stills or the videos. I just can't take it. It's no going to bring anybody back if I do.

  4. It's awful. It's so wrong. I don't know what else to say, except that I always feel I must not turn away, somehow I feel that seeing helps to honour the victims, although I know it doesn't do any real good. Hugs from Canada, Angella.

  5. Thank you. I too have avoided the videos and pictures, but like jenny_o I feel that I must not turn away... so many feelings and so much confusion, I just don't know but I do know I'm glad you posted this <3
