Maybe that is part of my melancholy. I always knew that I wanted to be a momma when I grew up. Now that they are grown up, I just do not know what will come next for me.

Things are much better. Interesting that a lot of what happened around here had to do with the same things that you wrote concern about in your most recent post. Our responsibility to remain here and well is not only for ourselves but to those who love us.

Big hugs and lots of love:) Enjoy your daughter's wonderful day!!!!!!Debrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05328458241519464529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9107151958453669111.post-40726355582573528502012-06-12T09:56:21.255-04:002012-06-12T09:56:21.255-04:00Debra, for us, graduation is in two days. I certainly do. But this is how it is when it works out, my husband likes to say. So yes, we rejoice. We're happy and looking ahead. Always lovely to see you here. I hope things are well for you. Much love.37paddingtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12400464105403622384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9107151958453669111.post-54316928496497617492012-06-11T18:59:46.280-04:002012-06-11T18:59:46.280-04:00This photo makes me nostalgic. It's not about the sports. that's just one kind of organizing principle, but not the only kind. not all kids are sports kids. some are daydreamy take an aimless walk and talk kids. to my mind, It's about showing up for them, being in the stream of their lives somehow, and you did that, i know you did. I can tell by how good it is with your children now. hugs.37paddingtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12400464105403622384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9107151958453669111.post-13218787971007372062012-06-11T16:49:32.404-04:002012-06-11T16:49:32.404-04:00Elizabeth, your post about spending your Saturdays...Elizabeth, your post about spending your Saturdays at the ballpark and loving it brought back memories, and they were sweet ones. I had to make myself not regret the games and track meets I missed, and to be satisfied with the ones I did make. It's always a balancing act, and you do it beautifully.37paddingtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12400464105403622384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9107151958453669111.post-78554203432210626072012-06-11T16:07:27.920-04:002012-06-11T16:07:27.920-04:00Beautiful photo.
