And I know what you mean about missing Aunt Winnie, as we here are having our first Christmas without Dede. And men and their moods. I know that too. I don't know what we can do. Take loving care of yourself. I'm sending love to your dear heart, however heavy it may be right now.Vesuvius At Homehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02783271096885148080noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9107151958453669111.post-35590059547933686382014-11-30T16:31:05.451-05:002014-11-30T16:31:05.451-05:00Lucky Jared. I thought of you often over the last three days as we sat and visited with my very elderly aunt, my mother's only sister still alive. My mother and father were with us, too, and while they are incredibly vibrant at 76 and 78, they will not be so forever, and that is evident. Life was heavy this Thanksgiving, and I feel so very melancholy. I, like you, marvel at the life and okayness of my children -- and while that should be enough, I also feel like I need someone to literally shake me.Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03313726816776097840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9107151958453669111.post-38105373425119667272014-11-29T15:01:00.906-05:002014-11-29T15:01:00.906-05:00Ah, hell, woman.
