They saved each other

  1. I was not going to watch it, but then it was so easy to stream that I did and i am so glad for it. They escaped, they have each other and loads of support on this side of the ocean. Right, they saved one another and their little family. It is all good ( except for the FIRM, they have some reckoning to do)

  2. I agree. I would be proud to be Harry's mama.

  3. The love between this mother, this father, and their young son and yet-to- be-born daughter brings joy beyond measure.

  6. How eye opening that interview was. Who would've thought?

  7. I've never understood America's fascination with the British royals. they're just people, some good, some bad and I'm sure many mixed race families go through the same trama/drama. I wouldn't want to be one though, a royal, with your whole life prescribed for you, telling you what you have to do and what you cannot do. I'm glad they escaped, put their own happiness above the franchise.

  8. Fact check. Prince Harry and his wife while part of the royal family, were entitled to protection as IPPs. I think that is the acronym. Once they decided not to be 'active' royals, they were not entitled to that protection. See this and other news items. https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/harry-meghan-security-costs-rcmp-canada-1.5478022
Canada provided protection for them until they moved to BC as private citizens.
Frankly, Harry should have known that their automatic protection would lapse when he decided to renounce his duties. It was not 'short notice'.
I have sympathy for their desire to be out of the British press's spotlight, but not if they continue to seek publicity.

  9. It was unbelievable to me that the decision was made before Archie was even born to not make him a prince because of concern about what his skin color might be. These people are evil, I don't understand why people in the UK have to pay for this level of pure-D evil. I'm glad they're out, I hope they will be happy.

    1. Allison, none of the Queen's great grandchildren have the title of prince. That has been a rule for a long time and had nothing to do with his race, just his place in the succession. Only the children and grandchildren of the monarch get the title prince or princess. An exception to the rule was made for Prince William's children because they are in direct line of succession but that took a special proclamation. I suspect there was concern about his skin colour in the family, but not from the Queen. And she is the only one with the ability to change titles.
