I have a teenage cousin who we took on a scenic drive in the NC mountains. So much breathtaking natural beauty all around her and she wasn't interested in a bit of it... eyes perpetually welded to her phone... so frustrating... for the adults, that is...
Deborah, these kids live in a wired world. I should post a picture of them on a normal night, seated on the couch, laptops open in laps, cell phones clutched in fists, ipods plugged into ears, all while watching TV.
On a good note, they surf and google so much, they are a font of knowledge on practically anything.
