DeleteIt’s not looking good. I’m on the road in PA trying to get the votes. Good news is it’s possible my Republican Congressman may be unseated, something not a likelihood a few months ago. My other home state is all blue like yours,

There are variations to the theme happening seemingly everywhere. And even if we can turn the tide at the next elections - in whatever country - the seed of populism, of fascist thinking has been planted. We need to do more than vote and return to business as usual.
ReplyDeletethe average lifespan of an empire is 250 - 300 years and we are definitely in our decline , our Age of Decadence. we've held wealth and power for too long and have abused it.
ReplyDeleteYes, we are winter soldiers, and even though I am already weary the fight must go on. I already suspect that this battle will go on long after I'm gone. I look at the innocent faces of young ones on their way to school in the morning. What political, social, earthly landscape will they inherit, I wonder and grieve.
