Sunrise in LA

I'm out on the other coast for a couple of days for a new work project. The sky was painted all sorts of fantastic colors when I opened my eyes at the ungodly hour of six this morning. I thought fondly that for a couple of days, Elizabeth and I will be under the same sky. I won't have much time to myself though, so I'll just wave toward the horizon, smiling at the thought of being so close. And so a new journey begins.

  1. You've hardly had a break! That seems like a gruelling schedule, although I suppose for other jobs we also work continuously most of the year . . . But still . . . Best of luck on the new project. That is a wonderful shot you've taken.

  2. I love thinking of you and Elizabeth under that same sky. May your time be fruitful and filled with the good and not any of the other stuff.

  3. I'm so glad that you are here -- about 8 miles away and one plus hours of driving through traffic! That sky! Our winter skies are so glorious. I hope your trip is productive and that you have many more!
