My beautiful coworkers this week. Video conferencing and data crunching and problem solving other techy corporate stuff I don't begin to understand. But they're brilliant and hardworking and charming. I'd hire them for anything.
Also, Fireboy and his lovely wife of three months stopped by. They wrapped their Christmas presents here, laughing behind closed doors, with him teasing her about her Pinterest gift wrapping aspirations and then being suitably impressed by how gorgeous the packages were. The man came home from work early to be part of the fun. “It takes so little to make me happy," he said later, when we were both in bed. His children and
their loves around him, that is all he needs. In this, we are the same.
You are indeed blessed.
ReplyDeleteMy youngest son ( 35) and his girlfriend will be arriving this evening until Tuesday. Looking forward to seeing them but it will be strange to have others in the house. The other 2 sons live nearby so never need to stay over.
ReplyDeleteIt's a treat to have the kids home again. Happy Holidays to you and your family! Wishing you joy and peace!
ReplyDeleteThey light up the world.

ReplyDeleteI love that pinkish curtain behind her -- and everything and everyone looks radiant!
ReplyDeleteOur kids bring us joy when they are happy and content, and yours obviously are. Happy Christmas to you and your loved ones!
ReplyDeleteGrateful to be able to witness this love, joy and peace.
ReplyDeleteWell, if this isn't the operational definition of joy and love, I don't know what is. A very Merry Christmas to you and yours.
