Last night in New Hampshire

Trump's response: "We're going to be looking at that and a lot of different things."

All my life I have wondered how the Nazi regime happened. I have asked myself again and again, how did it come to power, did no one see what was coming? Watching Trump now, sensing the tenor of the times, I have a persistent feeling that it crept into the mainstream in much the same way.

  4. That is because there is no independent media anymore...It is all corporate and no-one wants to lose a job...Trump is a dangerous bigot and people should be afraid rather than laughing, as I have seen...

  5. Angella, you are brilliant. I would say that I will pray but it didn't help the millions of Jews that were murdered so I don't see the point.
In Canada we are in a similar state. Our current Prime Minister (Stephen Harper) is running for re-election and I am getting very scared. He is as smooth as silk but evil. Evil. He is an elected psychopath that only cares about money. The worst part is is he is well liked because of his hateful views. He is quietly dismantling democracy and has taken away out right to protest. He has gone so far as to only allow pre-chosen reporters to ask pre-chosen questions at political debates.
Anyway, I am tired and it is pointless to rage. All I can do is vote. But God help us all if Stephen Harper and Donald Trump are elected.

  6. YES thank you for that, we are all about "never again" but there it is! The GOP is so scary and the media covering Mr. Rump every move he makes gives him undeserved validity. I reckon he will wear thin by the time we actually get to vote.

  7. It is truly scary to see the support for views like this. How did things get so bad?

  8. I have had a similar feeling since BushCheneyRumsfield stole the election. At that time I started saying, "Now you know how the Germans felt." Scary times. Additionally scary to hear that Stephen Harper is running things in Canada in a very BushCheneyRumsfield-type way. I was unaware.
