    1. Sadly, we are in a burning building. I believe that. But I do also still believe love is the most powerful force there is. Love will spur us to action I hope, because what choice do we have. We can start by not voting Trump into office in November. I'm so disgusted with how he has responded to this violence again our LGBTQ brothers and sisters I can't even speak.

    1. Thank you, Frances. I'm hanging on for dear life to the idea of love.

  3. You can have all the love in the world, but in this country, unless we can vanquish the lobbyists for the NRA and pass better gun control laws, the situation will not change.

    1. E, you are absolutely right. Don't even get me started on the tired argument Ince again trotted out that if one person had a gun they could have stopped the killer. If America's gun laws were different the killer would not have been able to legally purchase an assault weapon, a gun whose only purpose is to kill a lot of people quickly. Why should any private citizen be able to buy that?

  6. I love this so much and posted it as well on my Instagram and Facebook page. There must be so much good in the world that writing like this appears everywhere, simultaneously, it seems, and still lifts us all!
