"The Republican health-care bill is an act of monstrous cruelty. It should stain those who supported it to the end of their days."

This piece by Washington Post writer Paul Waldman sums up what we are facing from the most vile group of politicians we have ever seen.

  1. Oh, Angella. I am sick over this. I'm so very sorry.

How can America be made great again by doing such a heinous thing?

  2. There are no words for the cruelty and complete lack of not only compassion but of common sense that these people voted for today.
    None.
Except that, if there is tangible evil, they embody it.

  3. I think I was just about the angriest I've ever been today, and I'm still smarting from it. That my parents are Republicans -- well -- it's an awful, awful thing.

  4. Oh Lord! The fight goes on. Most people are saying it won't pass the senate and be made law. Calls to congresspeople, folks!

I can't even imagine what this is going to look like in history. It will look like America was taken over by a group of people with mass-insanity.

  5. I have no words. It is comforting to know that others are able to eloquently express the outrage that I feel.

  6. That is a well written piece, thank you for posting it. The last two lines really say it, don't they? We're beginning to suspect some of our family members voted for that man. It's making us angry and sad, I don't know what to do about this.

  7. I don't understand it - and I have tried - that a country that provides such amazing medical research facilities with stunning results cannot find a way to provide medical care to all of its people, while it's obvious that it can be done easily.
