I am actually nostalgic for these times. I remember wearing patent leather shoes and white gloves to fly on an airplane when I was four years old. Your mother is the epitome of white-gloves-and-a-hat in that picture. So charming.
I remember wearing little white gloves to church on Sunday. I wonder when that fell by the wayside.
