Happy 96th Mom

Today would have been my mom's 96th birthday. I will never stop missing her. Today is also the day my Aunt Beryl left us a year ago. Her daughter, Hilary, texted me first thing: "Remembering two beautiful women this morning." I texted back that they are playing bridge in the unseen and smiling on us. I like to think it so.

  1. Happy birthday to your mom -- a great time to remember her. I love the photos, especially the one of you as a baby!

  4. We will never stop missIng our moms. Actually, I miss mine more with each passing week. I used to go see a little lady who would walk up and down the hallway of the facility calling out, “Mama?” She was 96 and looking for her mom. It used rom break me a little. I would always tell her that her mama was just out for tea with a neighbor and she would be back soon. It would calm her for awhile then she would look for her again.
I am so very glad that you had these women in your life. But I know when you love greatly you grieve just as hard. Or maybe even harder.
