My husband's mother, our beloved Nana, closed her eyes for good three years ago today. She was our glue in the most literal sense of the word, and we miss her terribly. We have not stopped reeling yet. Now it's on us to figure out our own redemption. Mom, we love you always and each other too.
Sigh. You are annihilating me with these gorgeous reflections, Sister Lister!!
ReplyDeleteKim, i love your postcards from camp papa, i am completely undone by them. xo
DeleteWe are truly still reeling. But the good news is that our redemption is not for us to figure out. Only believe....as she did.
ReplyDeleteBruce, if disappointment is merely unmet expectation, then i am releasing all expectation in this regard. love you, dear brother.
DeleteThese pictures are especially poignant for me, being a grandmother, and knowing that I'm the next on the chain to go and leave all the beautiful babies...
ReplyDeleteBut! It is the way it is and love is never gone. Not entirely. No.
Ms. Moon, not for a while yet! You'll see their babies!
DeleteI had a similar reaction as Mary's - I'm the Nana now.
ReplyDeleteI love these pictures, beautiful beautiful.
