Treats of the day created in my daughter's favorite class, the one she says makes her week worthwhile. She wanted a college experience that would include the culinary arts without her having to go to culinary school. She got the best of both worlds, as she tends to do.
How entirely wonderful! What a wise girl you have!
ReplyDeleteMs. Moon, baking and cooking make her happy. She did not get that from me. Maybe she got it from you!
DeleteMmm! Pass the butter!
ReplyDeleteBirdie, for sure. xo
Deleteyummy!
ReplyDeleteC, toooo yummy!
DeleteOh, dear lord -- that looks divine!
ReplyDeleteElizabeth, she posted this on Facebook, and there is a comment underneath it: "Who burned their bread!" I guess they're serious.
DeleteI was wondering that!
DeleteWow! That must be quite a class! Definitely not something I had the option to take in college!
ReplyDeleteSteve, she searched for a school where she could do this, so I'm really happy she's enjoying it so. She says she's been lucky enough to be partnered for the semester with the foodie star of the school, who won some national culinary competition, so she feels some pressure to carry her own weight but she's also learning a lot. This class is the highlight of her week. Dave would no doubt understand!
ReplyDeleteOh that's so lovely! My two fave things - bread - which actually with butter and jam is better than cakes I reckon, and berries...
ReplyDeleteWow. Those look amazing and amazingly I'm really hungry right now. Great job by your daughter.
