The truth?

Ms. Moon and others of you are relieved that I am not curled up in a ball somewhere. I'm not. But that doesn't mean I don't seriously consider it every morning when I open my eyes.

  1. I think of you, curled up in your bed, unrolling to face another day. You know, people always say to me that they can't believe how "well" I deal with stuff, and I have to laugh. Who sees us in our fetal positions or slumped over in the shower, the tears mixing with the water?

    I see you, Angella.

    Sending love --

  2. This room looks different. Nice and golden. As long as you can consider and still get up, that is ok. You will get past that.

    1. Kristin, keep getting up, that is the mantra indeed. Thank you, friend. As for the room, I think I might play with it some more. Who knows?

  3. Oh yes, I know this truth well. And I think that those of us who face that challenge each day are so much stronger for it. I find momentum helps - inertia takes me down too far.

    Hugs. We're here for you.

  6. It's a time of deep change, and it's understandable that part of you would resist. Hugs, Angella! :)

    1. Steve, it is deep change, isn't it? I think part of the issue is I keep trying to deny how deep it is. Thank you. Hugs.

  7. I've been lost in those links for the article you posted the link too. I wanted to say thank you. It's brave to get up in the morning and not stay curled in a ball. Braver still to admit how you really feel.
    Sending you hugs.

  9. Angella -- I read your blog each time you post and rarely say anything but I too know and I too get it and I too am sending you a virtual hug and strength. I've learned truth in the saying: "this too shall pass." Sweet Jo

  10. If you are in a ball and I am in a ball, can we still promise to talk to one another? It might be the only way for us to ever really "bounce" back...

I love you, dear one, and I am here. Always, always here.
