Can barely lift my head

I’m so sick. This flu is no joke. I haven’t been laid this low in years.

  1. It’s a brutal one. I have lost a lot of the people I care for who sadly already had pre-existing conditions. It hits so fast!
Fortunately you are young and healthy but please rest. This one can take weeks to get over if you don’t take care of yourself. I had a cough for two months afterwards.

  6. Hoping that you have a rapid recovery from the flu.

It is occurring to me that you traveled by plane this past week. It has been after plane trips that I have experienced the worst illnesses. I wish that weren't so.

Sending loving energy to you as you rest and heal.

  7. It's been bad here as well. The vaccine was not nearly as effective as they had hoped and lots of people ended up with the flu and horribly sick. Thankfully I've been spared so far, fingers crossed.

Take care sweetie and hope you feel better soon.

I'm sorry to hear you are sick and even sorrier to hear that it is a bad one.
When we mothers are sick, we still worry about everyone else and that we are not there to do for them the way we usually do. But I hope you allow them to help you now and not feel guilty. Just think of you right now and drink all the tea your husband brings you.xo

  11. On no! It's been a terrible season, despite having the vaccine I caught it last month. Hope it leaves quickly and you're on the mend soon.

  14. Two weeks ago, I had the flu; only succeeding my son first and husband second. This flu went through our family. Cough, cold, headache, chills and body ache. No energy. We used Thera Flu (available over the counter) drank lots of water and I liked my Yogi, lemon ginger tea. I started to feel better in 5 days. Take care - Susan

  15. I’m sorry. I got a minor version of it. The cough hangs on. No one wants to be around you. I don’t blame them but it gets lonely, especially on the holidays. I’m with you and rubbing your head. Joanne
