She is gone

My mom died this morning.

She was having breakfast, she had what looked a massive seizure, and then just like that, she left. Her spirit probably found itself outside her body and she decided, It's time.

My brother came and lifted her onto the bed, but soon after he laid her gently down, she was gone. She took her final breath in his arms.

Her very last words to me in life were, "Oh my darling, we have been so blessed."

It doesn't seem real.

Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing.
And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb.
And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance.

  6. Dear Angella,
From the BCP p.831 "For those we Love"
Almighty God, we entrust all who are dear to us to thy never-failing care and love, for this and the life to come, knowing that thou art doing from them better things than we can desire or pray for.
And my love to you and your family,
    Jan
